J&K Police Service JKPSC Combined Competitive Exam Pattern 2017 CCE Syllabus

JK. There are total 277 J&K Police Service, J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service and Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service posts must be filled by active aspirants. The aspirants who have eligible criteria they must register for the latest Jammu & Kashmir jobs before the last date. Sending of filled forms will be started from 22 June 2017 and it will be closed on 22 July 2017.

About Us :- Till the end of the year 1954 there was no formal recruiting agency in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. A Public Service Recruitment Board was set up on December 31, 1954. Subsequently with the coming into force of the "Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir State" on 26th of January 1957, "Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission" was established, under section 128 of the Constitution of J&K, on September 2, 1957, with Major General Yadev Nath Singh PVC, as it is first Chairman. Under section 129 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir the Chairman and the Members of the Public Service Commission are appointed by the Governor for a period of five years or till he attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission recently started inviting eligible job seeker to attend for KAS Prelims Exam. The candidates who got the better score in this Kashmir Administrative Service Examination will be selected for the posts of Junior Scale and Gazetted Officers. J&K Combined Competitive Exam Pattern:

Paper-I	General English
Paper-II	Essay in English 150 marks
Paper III & IV	General Studies 300 marks(for each paper )
Papers V, VI, VII & VIII	Any two subjects to be selected from the list of the optional subjects like Agriculture, Botany, Geography, Law and other.
